Team Long - A Salute to Kindness and Love

In light of this recent rash of negative sports stories (Lance Armstrong, etc), this story is not only inspiring, but a cool breeze of kindness/love.  This time, it came in a small package.  Two small packages, actually.  Caden and Conner, 2012's Sports Illustrated Kids Winner.  Watch for yourself.

There is so much we can learn from kids and their beautiful, unadulterated kindness.

Holidays Fun in Whistler

Today is snowed. And snowed. And snowed in Whistler.  While the snowflakes fell on my eyelashes, I was grateful for toddlers in puffy ski suits, sugar cookies, true love, and snow shovels.

Happy Holidays!

Good Luck Pearl?

While eating with some great friends last night in Seattle, I crunched down on a lucky pearl in one of my Effingham oysters. I think that means it's gonna be a great year.
